    buried? Neither did Trayvon Martin. Have you ever looked at your son and thought that he could be next? That he would be the next to be shot by a white man? That he wouldn’t get justice, and that his killer would be set free? Neither did Sybrina Fulton the mother of Trayvon Martin. From the eyes of a young African American teen, the case of Trayvon was a horror. On the night of February 26, 2012 the unfortunate series of events began to unfold. Trayvon Martin had took a trip with his father to visit his dad fiancée at her Townhouse “The Retreat at Twins Lake” in Sanford,Florida. He had gotten suspended from school and went with his dad. On the night of February 26th, Martin walked to the store and purchased a pack of Skittles and a can of Arizona Iced Tea. After his purchase he walked through a neighborhood that had lately been victimized by a few robberies around this time. George Zimmerman a Neighborhood Watch spotted Martin and immediately called the Sanford police. During this call Zimmerman reports Martin for suspicious behavior. As the call continued Zimmerman began to follow Trayvon, police ask “are you following him” he responds with “yes i am” police then said “we don’t need you to do that dispatchers are on there way thank you”. The call then ended and Zimmerman continued to follow him.
