Did you know that some dinosaurs had wings and feather but they didn’t have any use for flight? According to “Raptors: The Bird-like Dinosaurs of Mesozoic Era” by Bob Strauss, Over 70 million years ago, there was a family of feathered dinosaurs called Raptors. Raptors were feathered Theropods that varied in size from no bigger than a large chicken, to exceeding the height of a full grown man. The time the Raptors lived mainly centered around 65-90 million years ago in the Cretaceous era. A Raptors diet mainly depended on its size. If the raptor is small it goes after small prey or insects unless they have a big enough group to take on larger prey. In some cases like Velociraptor, if there wasn’t enough food around and the group was hungry, they would fight over food and possibly eat one of their own. With larger Raptors this was not an issue because they were big, fast, and agile enough to take down larger prey than the smaller Raptors and in result there was enough food for the whole pack. Raptors lived in many different environments and habitats which affected how and what they hunt. Usually due to the trees, some smaller raptors used them for hunting, homes, cover, and possibly to surprise intruders. Plains were for the fast Raptors that had a quick speed or were agile enough to maneuver around blows by prey. For example microraptor lived in a different habitat due to their different needs and abilities, thus the microraptor lived in wooded areas as a result of its…

Life will change over time, gradually forming the most adaptable species look. Ancient creatures can be verified by residual fossils: the older the older, the more the difference between its morphology and the existing species. At the same time people can also discover the relationship between species and species from fossils. Archaeopteryx has sharp teeth, feet three toes have claws, long bone tail, these are dinosaur features, and it also has feathers, wings, and modern birds similar, so is…

never exist? Fossils will tell us the truth. With archaeologists find out many fossils, people gradually find out the footprint of microevolution. One of examples is evolution of cetaceans. Base on anatomy of cetaceans, they are certainly mammals. Fossils also oppose this opinion. Fossils demonstrate the process of cetaceans, From ancient cetaceans on the land to cetaceans in the sea. It illustrated macroevolution clearly from the four feet animal to streamlined animal. In research of fossils,…

The Caihong Juji had lived in the rainforest. It would glided across tree with it’s feathers and look for food. It was a carnivore (meat eater) that had hunted for small mammals, and reptiles. realities which evolutionary researchers need to clarify as oppose to use as confirmation for their hypothesis. Darwinism alleges that there is a relationship between birds and reptiles. Chapel Hill, an evolutionist from the University of North Carolina states “Paleontologists have tried to turn Archaeopteryx into an earth-bound, feathered dinosaur. But it’s not. It is a bird, a perching bird. And no amount of ‘paleobabble’ is going to change that.” (Morell) “Archaeopteryx had whole formed…

wing. They each have a large bone in the upper arm, two bones in the lower part of the arm, and a smaller collection of bones creating a sort of wrist with fingers. Even those these two species are so different, they clearly must come from a similar ancestor and have evolved in different directions from this. All species store information by use of DNA. Humans and roundworms share about 25% of their genes. In some situations, genetic material can be transferred between species and will continue…

debated about evolution with an English bishop, Samuel Wilberforce (commonly called “Soapy Sam”). This debate took place at the Oxford University Museum. Thomas Huxley was interested in religion and science from a young age, and he won awards in the 1840s for physiology and organic chemistry. Huxley wished to explain functions of living tissue by physicochemical laws, and he discovered a new membrane, now called ‘Huxley’s layer’, in human hair. Given this background, we see that he is a very…

the fossil. More specifically, when. He told us both we were in the Jurassic Era, and there were dinosaurs nearby. This was understood by both Duff and I when we found a giant footprint of what could only be a dinosaur’s. Clarence elaborated more on it saying, “that’s an Allosaurus’ footprint... it eats meat. Sienna, could you give me that permineralized fossil?” Him being the expert, I grabbed what seemed to be the most beautiful, flat shell I’ve ever seen and placed it in his hands. Suddenly,…

human. A Transitional form of fish and amphibian was found by Neil Shubin and his colleagues, which was also a proof for evolution. However due to the environment many terrestrial animals were not well preserved. In terrestrial environment, when an animal died others carnivore will eat it or torn part of the carcass away. Natural disaster also contributed to poorly preserve fossils. Only fossils in well mineralized soils were able to be preserved until today. Missing links provided the answer…
