    concussion is. A concussion is an injury that you cannot see which is why some people calls it an invisible injury because you can get hit in the head very hard and not have any bruises or cuts on your head but you would still have a concussion because you would later feel the symptoms coming. The brain is surrounded by a fluid and protective membranes that separates the skull from the brain and it is called the meninge. The purpose of the meninges is to Protecting the brain and spinal cord from mechanical injury, Providing blood supply to the skull and to the hemispheres, Providing a space for the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (interactive biology). The meninges is a protective tissue but it also has 3 layers. It has the dura mater, the pia mater, and the arachnoid mater, the meninges is what protects the brain from hitting your skull, if you would not have a meninges the littlest bumps you would get to the head you would get a concussion. After you are cleared from a concussion you can still feel some of the symptoms for 4-6 more weeks. Adults and children both have similar symptoms when they get a concussion but they will both treat it differently. In an adult some symptoms that they could get would be headaches, they would feel weaker than they usually are, vomiting and nausea, slurred speech, acting differently than you usually act,easily agitated, etc. In children the symptoms are similar but they would act differently than an adult like for example a child with a…
