examination, our instructor told us to put our gloves and masks on for safety purposes also, he reminded us to be respectful to the bodies that we were to examine and so we offered them a prayer. As we continued to our activity, our laboratory instructor discussed the anatomy of the muscle which was our lesson through using one of the bodies in the room. After that, he let our class examine and study to the corpses all by ourselves. We took a closer look at four cadavers in the room, it wasn’t that easy to take a closer view to the bodies not just because of the strong formalin that was used to preserved the bodies but also the sense of sympathy that I felt during that time for the corpses and their family. It is really sad to think that these bodies were brought there from morgue because no one claims for their bodies and how hard it is to accept for the families of these persons that their loved ones were not given proper funeral for the sake of the human anatomical advancement of man. It made me realized that no matter how beautiful or rich you are now, all of these will eventually be nothing once you reached your end time. This also made me realize that man should give great importance to studying Physiological Anatomy for the…
One Corpse Too Many is a mystery book by Ellis Peters and is the second book in the Chronicles of Brother Cadfael. The book is a murder mystery centered around an extra dead body amongst other dead bodies about to be buried. As there is no specific moral or theme highlighted in the book, I would say it’s not a great book for teaching a lesson. However, with the great characterization and way of immersing the reader into the setting, it is definitely a great book to read just for the sake of…
didn 't feel any pressure to succumb to their views. For this reason pressure groups were a somewhat important factor in Britain 's growth of democracy. Political advantage was the thought that a political party can gain popularity through passing Reform Acts. Which is something that the Tories followed, the Tories aim was to gain votes through 'dishing the Whigs ', which was to defeat the whigs and steal their ideas. Bemjamin Disraeli, a politician for the Conservative party, persuaded other…
Politically England would have to change in order to prevent a revolution and the Reform Act of 1832 seemed like it was enough to prevent revolution. “In its final form the Reform Act of 1832 increased the electorate from around 366,000 to 650,000, which was about 18 per cent of the total adult-male population in England and Wales. The vast majority of the working classes, as well as women, were still excluded from voting and the Act failed to introduce a secret ballot. The working classes felt…
pleased the Texans, the Texans responded by adopting the Turtle Bay Resolutions. In the resolution, the Texans declared their loyalty to Mexico, but not to the Mexican government, and stated their support for López de Santa Anna. While I was a stowaway on a ship that had been loaded with a cannon by John Austin and his group, I awoke to find a battle between the Mexican soldiers and the Texans. The Texans eventually won when the Mexican commander, Colonel Domingo de Ugartechea, surrendered due…
