  • The Transformation Of Nintendo 64 To The Playstation 4

Video games have been transformed so much thought the years. Starting from pong in the 70’s to modern day video games. As society advances so do video games and their importance in modern culture. The more complicated we make video games the more we see there is controversy around it, but that’s not the main transformation this paper will be focusing on. The transformation I see the most would be between the Nintendo 64 to the PlayStation 4 consoles. The Nintendo 64 was a stepping stone for modern day gaming such as the PlayStation 4. The Nintendo 64 controller was very unique at the time. The controller itself was shaped like an M with the middle part of the M being longer than the other two parts. The controller had a 4 foot wire attached to it along with a memory card holder on the controller in case people wanted to make their games saves there. Underneath the controller was the z button with was hidden so during shooting games the other players couldn’t see when someone was going to shoot them. Along with a directional pad the controller included something known as the C buttons. These buttons are 4 individual buttons that have the 4 directions (up, down, left, right) and are yellow. These buttons were used during the early life of the system, however towards later years it was discovered that the buttons were very awkward to press with the controllers shape, so they stopped being useable in later games. The two primary buttons were the A and the B button, they were the…

  • Essay On Loyalty In The Outsiders

important. To the Greasers, loyalty is a principle to a successful gang; without loyalty, the gang isn’t a gang anymore. In the Outsiders, they had experienced how things would be if they lost loyalty for each other, for example, when Ponyboy didn’t believe that Darry really loved him. The Greasers showed loyalty to one another, by defending and sticking up for each other, and caring for one another. Loyalty represented the Greasers’ gang; it held the gang together, and the gang members looked…

  • Why I Want To Pursue A Degree In Computer Science

Statement of Purpose It all began when I was thirteen with a new Desktop Computer at home, which was bought to assist my father for his business. I still remember our first computer configuration – IntelPentium4, 256 MB RAM and 40 GB Hard Disk. Back in the days,…

  • Personal Narrative: Frozen In Time

The massive crash knocked the red lit stick that I had been holding from my hand and sent it spinning and putting it out. Stunned, I stood there in total darkness. I could hear nothing, see nothing, and I could feel nothing except for the cold stones under my feet. My head was swimming and I started to shiver and yelled in a loud voice, "Help someone! Please help me! Help —" Argos who was outside standing guard heard my cries scratched and tore at the dirt and squeezed his way through the…

  • Going To The Movies

that is never acceptable to order is Raisinets. This is a movie theater, not a dentist 's office; there is no reason to eat dried grapes while watching Ryan Gosling take off his shirt. The alternative to purchasing candy at the theater is to illegally smuggle it. This is a skill which must be carefully honed over a lifetime of movie-going. Beginners are advised to practice their smuggling techniques during the winter, when large coats and awkward bulges arouse less suspicion. With a little…

The stick I randomly grabbed had a slight curve to it. I thought I could make it into a bow or something later. I handed Christianne another stick, just in case she wanted one. The first quarter of the trail wasn 't that bad as long as I walked at a slow pace. By the time I made it up halfway, however, my legs were screaming at me in protest. I tripped on a few rocks because of my sluggish pace. Luckily, I caught myself with the stick I was carrying. After the long and grueling hike back up, I…

thought that I wouldn’t go through with it. What made me decide to play lacrosse was when my mother told me that I had to at least play one sport in high school. I would not say that I was forced to play lacrosse, but I really did not have any other option. I was not going to play baseball because I went to a baseball camp during the summer before my freshman year and I was the worst one out of all of the kids in my grade. I wasn’t going to do track because I wasn’t fast. I picked lacrosse…
