This connectivity forms a communication between the original artist's intent and the interpretation of those who read and observe the play. This form of the arts allows artists to connect to their emotions in a positive way and through this positivity of expression their emotions unite the audience to the craft of the theatre piece. I am attracted to theatre because of the empowering nature of the performing arts. The arts have a structure to uplift and connect people through creativity and sense of community. “Mama’s Boy” focused on how well cast the actors were. Something I agree with a hundred and ten percent. The actors truly embodied each characters. One actor in particular, Betsy Aidem, who played Marguerite, Lee Harvey Oswald’s mother captured the sprite of a mother who has lost everything, now fighting to hold on to the only joy she has left, her youngest son Lee.
