Jonathan Kozol went to a rough neighborhood to make a book. He learned about what happened there and was shown around by Cliffie. Jonathan Kozol learned a lot about Cliffie and might be trying to show his viewers hidden messages as he writes. One uncovered message is that you should enjoy your life even if it's bad . One example is when when Cliffie tells Jonathan Kozol “ They are burning bodies there… is a waste incinerator… burns so called red bag products.” ( pg 5-6, line 65, 70 and 74-75) Cliffie is not furious about it and he continues to be happy as he would.
