    Narcos emulates the real life notorious story of Pablo Escobar, the kingpin of drugs in Colombia as well as the widespread of cocaine globally. Simply, this ill-famous story makes the blood run cold of many. It is not easy for a man like Escobar to do his job with the perpetual efforts of the law enforcement whose goal is to ultimately kill and diminish Escobar. The two main characters of this story Steve Murphy who is a DEA agent and Escobar go head to head in a ferocious conflict. Brancato, the director of the show, illustrates Escobar in a manner such that the audience is able to sympathize along with him as the passion of crime which burns within him is not enough to make the audience go against him. Despite the crime in which he dwells within, the immense love for his family, associates and close friends shows beyond doubt that he is only human. In the first two episodes of Narcos, “Descenso” and “The Sword of Simón Bolivar”. The war on drugs in the 1970s and 1980s was introduced. Steven Murphy (DEA) talked about how easy it was for the US government to track your phone or computer, but it was a tougher in Columbia. The US government also came up with a computer program that could track and locate the calls of the DEA’s targets. After receiving a call from the DEA about a hitman that worked for Pablo Escobar, Steve Murphy notified the police and they managed to take him and a part of his gang out.
