Altamont Free Concert

On April 29, 2016, Spencer Giles watched the NWFSC Fine Arts HONORS Recital at the Tyler Recital Hall. The Tyler Recital Hall is at the Northwest Florida State College. The event was of free admission and the doors of the concert closed at 3:00 pm. There were seventeen students at the Recital. There were nineteen performances at the Recital. On April 19, 2016 I attend a Concert Band and Chorus presented by Palm Beach State college music department. The concert chorus was conducted by Michael MacMullen and the concert band was conducted by David Gibble. The chorus sung about 6 songs from different period of the music period, like “camp town races” and “Jubilate Deo”. Museum of Contemporary Art of North Miami held an evening jazz concert open to the public featuring the jazz band Karina Iglesias & the Nu-Thang. Karina Iglesias and the Nu-Thang included Karina Iglesias as the lead vocalist, accompanied by Brian Robertson on the piano, James McCoy on bass, and Kevin Abanto on drums. Experiencing a concert live is breath taking because it comes to realization how much work the artist has put into the music and choreography. Listening to the album is based off of visuals in your head as of what is going on in the song, or how the story is being played out.
