    color, appearance and playability. Walking through the aisles of Toys R Us it is apparent of the separation of boys and girl toys; the girl aisle is a bright pink and the boy aisle is blue. The section for boys is filled with a variety of toys, featuring action figures, cars, and toy weapons. The action figures feature a variety of characters, coming from shows and super heroes. The super heroes are well defined and muscular, of course this are not the only kind of toys to feature this characteristics, wrestling action figure also portray these aspects. Superheroes show that in order to be masculine, boys need to look a certain way, the actions and characteristics that superheroes poses is an impossible goal to achieve. For example, superheroes possess super powers and use those to protect people, not something an ordinary human could possibly do on their own. The wrestling action figures, as said before, feature masculine characteristics and emphasis violence and aggression. Especially since the action figures are based on wrestling show, it is in the spotlight and is seen as something to accomplish and obtain. There is an apparent focus on violence and aggression in the message it sends to boys. Besides the actions figures which do display these characteristic in those toys, there are weapons as well.
