Gertrudis De La Garza, known for her monumental work as mother and general in the revolutionary army, died on Saturday, March 6th in her home town of Nogales. She was 42. The annual Nacogdoches Culture Daze Festival will begin on Monday, May 2 at 7 p.m. in Swan Lake Hall of Madame Gurskey’s Academy of Tap and Ballet. The week of August 24th was Club Rush week. The entire week I and anyone else interested in the prospective clubs gathered around all the booths and looked into our options. Surprisingly, most clubs seemed less an investment in hobbies and fun, and more invested in humanitarian organizations.
