The Syrian Crisis started in March 2011, when protests started taking place against Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s president. In turn, the president’s forces responded with harsh violence. It started to build up, until it turned into rebellions. Hundreds and thousands of Syrian civilians were caught in the middle, and were forced to escape the country.
