also is beside them rather than above them. Gibbs was a Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corps before joining NCIS and he is now a Senior NCIS Special Agent. He is a kind man, but also a great interrogator who goes off his gut as much as he does the evidence. He has a few abilities or special traits such as speaking Russian, being fluent in American sign language, and he is a trained sniper. Strangely enough, he has a special kind of relationship with one of his team members, Abby. (Jethro Gibbs - NCIS). Abby Sciuto is another main character and a part of NCIS’s elite team. She is a forensic specialist who is independent and a capable thinker. She has a strong personality and scientific mind. Her relationship with Gibbs is almost a romance, but they never get together, it remains only flirtatious. Abby has a strong work ethic and treats the team as a family: always being Gibbs’ favorite. She tends to freak out whenever another member is in danger or is hurt, but that just shows how much she cares (Abby Sciuto - NCIS). In addition, another important character present throughout the entire show is Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard. Ducky’s occupation is the Chief Medical Examiner and a Forensic Psychologist. He served in the British military and has a wide array of friends across the U.S. and the world as medical examiners and coroners. He is a pleasant, grandfather-like man who is close pals with Gibbs. Knowing the autopsy process is invasive, Ducky talks to the bodies and asks…

I started watching NCIS when I was eleven or twelve, and since then I have strived to be more like Abby Sciuto. Abby is the definition of “never judge a book by it’s cover.” While she may seem scary and intimidating dressing in all black with several visible tattoos, she is the most down to earth, intelligent woman that I have ever seen on a television show. She is a forensic scientist who works at NCIS and her skills are vital to every single case they solve. She is well versed in forensic…
The interest in forensic science started when I was in middle school. Originally when my father constantly had crime shows on t.v., I was annoyed and uninterested in the shows. After a while though I decided to just watch the show, and the more I did that, the more I enjoyed the shows. My favorite at the time was the show NCIS. The specific person that got me interested in forensic science was Abby Sciuto from the same show, NCIS. To be a forensic scientist, you need to have a skill set…
