The daughter of Diane and Michael Haughton. Aaliyah was born on January 16,1979 and died on August 25,2001. She signed a contract with Jive Records at the age of 12 and was killed at the age of 22. On August 25, 2001 Aaliyah was in the Bahamas shooting a music video for Rock The Boat when a plane that Aaliyah and her video crew crashed and burst into flames. 9 people was killed that day.
