I could feel it. I raged myself on not doing anything stupid. I cried for what I didn’t know what to do. This happened for a while. Everyday, and even though my father did all those horrible things, he did not hurt my brother or sister, or even me. He payed the rent, he was not a bad father.. It’s just when he got drunk, or did drugs, that’s when he obviously was not. After so many nights without little sleep, one day, around 4 or 5 in the morning, I heard a BANG ! One BANG Two BANGS in the door. Is that my father? No it was not… My mother looked into the little hole of the door to check and see who it was. When one man turned around, my mother noticed a police officer’s badge. I noticed her whole face turned pale, as cold as winter days. My sister and I whispered cautiously, and quietly, “Who was it? Why would someone knock on the door on 4 in the morning? “ My mother responded with this vibe from her voice that was dwelling with frightness, “It’s the MVPD, and I am sure they are here to take your father. “ Even there knock was scary. BAM one, BAM two again. No one said a word.. It was dead silent. Suddenly, an officer said, “If you don’t open this door in this instance we will come and open it for…

The Big Bang Theory is the current theory of the origin of the universe that has largely been accepted by scientists, however it is not one hundred percent correct as modifications of the theory is continuously being developed as new discoveries, observations and calculations are being made. In the beginning in the universe, there was nothing, no space, no matter, no light, no time and no sound. Then there was a sudden explosion of energy which we now call the Big Bang. But there was no BANG…

In the beginning of this article from Sciencenews it is talking about the two cosmic magnifying glasses that are letting astronomers see a peek of a few faint galaxies that could have occurred as far back as 600 million years before the Big Bang. These tiny galaxies could have possibly played a large part in cosmic reionization. Rachel Livermore an astronomer at the University of Texas at Austin says “That when they detected galaxies as faint they did it supports the idea that a lot of little…

eagerness to hear more fed my big ego. I saw his eyes widened and they simply begged for a promising story. I explained how I would run errands all the time, sometimes even all by myself. I continued to enhance the story by telling him how a drunk driver ran a red light and missed me just by inches.
