Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I’m Esmeralda Gomez Sheran and I’m Dayton Ryden. First of all we would like to thank each and everyone of you for being here tonight, please know we are pleased to have you and we are proud of you for helping support the TNT grads along their journey. We are here tonight in order to celebrate all of our success with Teach North Texas, a program that didn’t just teach us how to survive in a classroom, but how to thrive in one. One of the many truths we’ve learned in our time here at Teach North Texas, is that every student brings with them their own story into the classroom. The same is true for us here tonight. Several of the tutors were UNT students and when I told them that I wanted to be a high school math teacher, they told me about this interesting program called Teach North Texas. They told me that this program was specifically for teachers who wanted to teach high school math or science. Fours years later here I am, celebrating with all of my fellow TNT members and staff. And some us couldn’t have imagined that this is where we would end up. Myself, I was just here to study biology. And then one day, a poster caught my eye. The next thing I knew, I was drawn into this awesome world of teaching. Teach North Texas…

As we enter into a season of Thanksgiving, I rejoice in God’s overflowing goodness to us at CCS. Many of you know that the Elementary school students gathered together this week for our Thanksgiving Celebration. Our Kindergarteners shared Psalm 100, inviting us to “enter into His gates with thanksgiving”, and students shared what they were thankful for in their lives. You should know that many of them are thankful for Jesus and how His work on the cross has rescued them from their sinful…

Good afternoon everyone. I’m Juliana Vandermark. Thank you so very much for all coming this afternoon to support all of us as we reflect on our experiences here and rise up to get ready to become high school students. When we were reminded we would still be together next year, only we’d have new classmates too, most of us weren’t especially psyched. Throughout our conversations about going to middle school people often…
