Essay on Negro Spiritual When I was 16, I had been out on the street and had to survive on my own. I had an awakening into the world of religion and wanted to broaden my knowledge as it was. I had been looking for a church that fit my needs. Music was the most important thing and all the rest came after it. Not necessarily perfect in the Christian sense, I’m sure.
