Panting, I run toward the unmistakable sound of a cargo boat. Once I finally reached the shore my greatest wish came true, a boat finally came close enough to the island I marooned on two years ago when my plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. My family and I have always been traveling to our hometown up north. Each summer, we get out of the heated area in 29 palms desert.
