    Carlos Hathcock Carlos Hathcock always dreamed about becoming a Marine. So on the date May 20th, 1959 of his 17th birthday, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. Before, he deployed to Vietnam, Carlos Hathcock had won several shooting championships. At that time in Vietnam War, Carlos Hathcock had 93 verified kills of the North Vietnamese people. The Vietnamese people set out a $30,000 bounty to go after Carlos Hathcock. Also, the Vietnamese Army’s sniper’s called Carlos Hathcock “White Feather Sniper”. One of Carlos Hathcock’s most famous achievements was firing an enemy over enemy’s own rifle scope which had hit him in the eye and killed him instantly. First, before, Carlos Hathcock deployed to Vietnam he won shooting championships. Including the matches at Camp Perry and the Wimbledon Cup. In 1966, Carlos Hathcock started his stationing in Vietnam as a military policeman. Later, he became a sniper in Vietnam. He became a sniper after Captain Edward James Land forced the Marines into promoting snipers in every detachment. Captain Edward James Land enlisted Marines who set out their own record sharp shooting. Edward Land, immediately found Carlos Hathcock, who had won the Wimbledon Cup. Also, Carlos Hathcock had won the most illustrious prize for long-range shooting, at Camp Perry in 1965. Secondly, during Vietnam War, Hathcock verified he killed 93 North Vietnamese people.
