“Imperfection is perfection to a beautiful perspective.” Throughout the story the kurt vonnegut shows the reader that in order to prove that the world is perfect you must first realize it will never be just that. When you aim for perfection, you’ll realize it’s an impossible target there is no one way to hit it correctly and it will always be that way no matter how long you try or how many times you try. No one thing can we perfect, that’s why pencils have erasers, we all make mistakes and do bad things but that doesn’t make us bad people it makes us normal, because normal definitely isn’t perfect. The author portrays a feeling of forced perfection throughout the story to make them think it’s all sunshine and rainbows but its really anything but that. During the story the painter expresses that he thinks the world could do with a good deal more mess(Vonnegut,5), it’s not until the little things that are considered bad that you realize how they made the world what it was. Although they try to make the world seem completely normal and fine it really isn’t because without disease and death there is no true pain and without pain you aren’t able to grow. Pain teaches us lessons and shows us we are strong enough to make it through whatever might be holding us back. So maybe perfect isn’t the right word for this world maybe it’s fake, because perfect is a 7 letter word that means everything but what they are trying to make it seem. “Everything was perfectly swell, there were no…

we happen to be going through at the time we hear a specific song? For me most of these questions apply to specific times in my life where music helped me out of pain, stress, loss and even despair. Instead of looking at the absence of the black man in a blackm family, she depicts this men not as traitors or deserters, but as strong, exploratory spirits providing a solid foundation for their children, even if his absence affects them. Morrison introduces the imagery of flight, using this to capture a vast foreshadowing to the family’s changing aspects of “Song of…
