    Chris’ Story Kids all over the world have life-threatening conditions, like different types of cancer and heart diseases. There are so many conditions and diseases that could kill a kid. Those kids inspired Make a Wish foundation. Chris Greicius was a seven year old boy who had a dream of becoming a police officer so he could “catch the bad guys”. But, at the age six he learned that he was not going to live long enough to pursue his dream. But, that did not stop Chris from becoming a little police officer. Chris was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of seven. Leukemia is a cancer of blood-forming tissues, which stops the body from being able to fight against infections (Started). Tommy Austin, US customs agent, wondering, Austin asks Cox if DPS could do something. He even said “I’ll rent a helicopter myself if I have to,” for Chris to become a police officer. Soon after that, Chris’ mom calls Austin and says she doesn’t think he can hold on much longer. Then they fly Chris to DPS headquarters (Started). Cox and Eaves got to where they make the uniforms and have them make one just the size to fit Chris. All night the employees work on the uniform for Chris. When the uniform was done, they took it to Chris’ house for him to put it on. Then they set up cones for Chris to drive a battery powered motorcycle around them, when he is done he will get the officer wings badge, which is an actual badge you can get (Started).
