Chris’ Story Kids all over the world have life-threatening conditions, like different types of cancer and heart diseases. There are so many conditions and diseases that could kill a kid. Those kids inspired Make a Wish foundation. Chris Greicius was a seven year old boy who had a dream of becoming a police officer so he could “catch the bad guys”. But, at the age six he learned that he was not going to live long enough to pursue his dream. But, that did not stop Chris from becoming a little police officer. Chris was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of seven. Leukemia is a cancer of blood-forming tissues, which stops the body from being able to fight against infections (Started).
