Describe the climate and weather of Germany.

Baden in the south is noticeably warmer. Summers can be wet, however rain generally declines in Autumn during final stages ripening.



Long cool ripening period helps Grapes to develop a good level of natural sugar while retaining acidity. When sufficient humidity is present this allows for the development of noble rot.
