Adson's Test
|
-Palpate radial pulse
-Pt. head turned to affected side -Pt. ER, ABD w/ slight EXT and take a deep breath -PT feel for pulse (+) if pulse disappears |

Roos Test
|
-Pt. stands and ABD arms to 90⁰, ER shoulder and FLEX elbows to 90⁰ so elbows are slightly behind frontal plane
-Pt. opens/closes hands for 90 min. (+) if unable to hold position along w/ ischemic pain or numbness |

Hyperabduction (Wrights) Test
|
-Palpate radial pulse
-Pt. sits w/ arm ER, ABD w/ slight EXT -Pt. head is turned away from affected arm -PT brings arm overhead, ADD across midline to feel pulse (+) if pulse disappears with ischemic pain or numbness |

-Depress shoulder girdle -ABD humerus to ~110⁰ -SUP the forearm -EXT the elbow, wrist, fingers and thumb |
