It means you send out a higher quality signal, or you can send out multiple subchannels, but what most of us don’t think about is that it cleared up a lot of bandwidth for other kinds of devices to use, things like cell phones and internet devices – and all that cleared up bandwidth is great for business. I think it’s fair to say that the primary motivation for the change to digital was the great business opportunity it presented. The bottom line is usually the bottom line. |
