Was caused by the belief that goverment ministers were profiteering. Peasants broke down enclosures owned by landowners. Robert Kett was one of these landowners who sympathized with the rebels and decided to lead the rebellion.

When was the Western Rebellion? And what caused it?

Caused by protestant religious changes. Also caused by enclosure and dear of the gentry purchasing crown lands. The introduction of the new Prayer Book also provoked a reaction (most in Cornwall and Devon were catholic)
