Make sure the tractor parking and the trailer emergency brakes are applied.

Make sure the switch is down and that the truck is in neutral.

Depress the clutch and start the engine.

Build the air pressure to 100 - 125 psi.

Put it into first gear.

Apply the trailer emergency brake (pull the red knob).

Release the tractor parking brake (push the yellow knob).

Slowly ease off the clutch to the friction point. Do not release the clutch all the way. Stop at the friction point. (The friction point is when you notice that the vehicle tries to pull foward. Releasing the clutch all the way will stall the engine).

The truck should not move.

Depress the clutch.
