The act of saying the actual words to represent an idea/act of making a meaningful utterance

ILLOCUTION (INTENTION)

refers to the performance of an act in saying something

PERLOCUTIONARY ACTS (EFFECT)


Refer to speech acts that have an effect on the feelings, thoughts or actions of either the speaker or the listener. In other words, they seek to change or transform minds.
