Santiago is a pearl diver. Baby gets bitten by a scorpion. Takes to doctor. Doctor says no because they cant pay. He is not very good but he finds this huge pearl. He lets it get to his head and he becomes very greedy. He tries to sell it for a lot of money, but they say its only worth 500 bucks. That night someone tries to steal the pearl and Santiago kills them. Because of this Santiago juana and the baby, skip town. They try to hide but the police follow them. At night Santiago tries to kill one of the police men, baby cries, police man shoots because he thinks that it was a wolf, but it kill the baby.
