Groundwater seeping in - it may not be possible to get the area completely dry - consider use of pumps to prevent flooding - record information.

Leaking...

Leaking pipe - sort the problem before a full certificate of reoccupation can be given.

If indent....

If identified prior to work - may require use of small enclosure to strip area so that leak can be repaired.

If occurs during work, area cleaned to enable plumber wearing suitable RPE / PPE to repair leak - then proceed with normal clearance when area dry.

Sprayed sealent - should not be used before visual inspection (1/3) May be used...



May be used to seal surfaces that may release non asbestos dust, but only analyst's discretion.

If already applied but still wet Stop the clearance. Issue failed certificate of reoccupation, indicating the reason. Sealant must be washed off and the area dried.

If already dry, issue failed certificate, consider way forward probably need to remove all dried sealant.
