What exactly is Geography? |
the word "geography" comes from ancient Greek. "Geo" means earth and "graphy" means write. |

in the past, geographers have used maps as navigational tools in order to figure out how to get from place ti place. now geographers use maps as a way to communicate key information about a certain place. |

How are maps made? |
maps are made my cartographers. they used to be made my hand but now geographers use GIS (geographic information system) which is a computer system that displays geographic data on computer made maps. |

What is the difference between Human and Physical Geography? |
Human Geography- studies how humans affect the Earth, or how the Earth influences human behavior. Physical Geography- studies natural features and processes of the Earth |

The imaginary line around the Earth. It is Zero degrees North and zero degrees South because it is in the exact middle. |

The imaginary line around the center of the Earth. It is zero degrees East and zero degrees West because it is in the exact middle. |
