Position resident comfortably and with correct body enlignment stand at FOB to see if they are straight raise side rails tell resident you are lowering them for safety put bed to lowest position place call light within reach tell them to test it to see if it works open privacy curtains ask if they want open or closed say goodbye double check to make sure water call light and phone are in reach ask if they need anything else say ok goodbye if you need anything hit the call button.
