What is Simple Present Tense?

Simple Present is tenses (sentences patterns) used to tell the present time in a simple form.

The Function of Simple Present Tense

The function of simple present tense is to express the facts, habits, or event that occur at the moment. Simple present tense itself uses the first form of verb (verb 1).

Simple Present Tense Formula

The formula of simple present tense is Subject + verb 1 (s/es) for verbal sentences and Subject + to be (am/is/are) + nominal (adjective/noun) for nominal sentence. We must be considered is that if the Subject is (He/She/It) then verb must be added s/es.
