Fire

It is the greates hazards to employees, equipment, and service to customers.

Class A fires

Class of fire that produce ash from burning paper, wood, excelsior, rubbish.

Class B fire

Class of fire fed by lubricating oil, cleansing agents, grease, paints.

Class C fire

Class of fire that involve electrical equipment.

Fire header

It runs throughout the plant and yards with fire hydrant at frequent intervals.

Fog nozzle

Put on a hose to break the water into minute particles much like a fog. Most common protection surrounding the transformer.

Cardox system

It is a super de luxe fire system. Not design to give as a wide coverage as the fire header.

Cardox tank

It is insulated and refrigerated by a unit within the enclosure.

Carbon dioxide system

It is a system provide the protection for many enclosed storage or other confined space.

It is a system more suited to electrical fires.
