Hip abd MMT

Glut med/min. Sidelying, slight hip ext. make a straight line w/ body. bring contra knee up and hold, ipsi arm down flat on mat, log roll to front. Stabilize/palpate on hip and push to keep from rotating. Bring leg into ext and raise all the way up. Resist on lateral thigh. Don't flex hip, ER, let leg roll, toes out.

Hip abd/add MMT GE

supine, PT support LE, stabilize on pelvis. start in slight add/abd and move out into abd/add. Toe up. Don't lift leg, flex hip

Hip add MMT

Add longus, brevis, magnus, pectineus, gracilis. Sidelying, grabbing plinth. PT support top leg or bend up. add bottom leg, inside foot straight up. Resist/palpate medial distal thigh. Don't turn foot in out, no hip flex, ext.

Hip abd/flex MMT

TFL. Sidelying 10-20 flexion, IR. Bend bottom knee and hold; abd w/ slight flexion. Stabilize and palpate pelvis. Resist anterolateral thigh into add and ext. Don't flex, of rotate hip. GE supine, PT support leg in slight flexion and IR, have them abd

knee flexion MMT

hamstrings. prone. knee flexed ~70. resist distal leg, palpate post thigh. Push or pull. Don't turn leg, raise hip. Can rotate tib to isolate sides. GE: sidelying, support leg, wrap around to feel hamstrings. Don't raise or lower leg

knee extension MMT

quads. sitting, lean back. stabilize distal thigh, have them ext just over 90, resists distal leg, sink into it, a lot of P. Don't rotate or raise hips. GE: sidelying, support leg. Don't raise or lower leg

DF/PF

Supine w/ towel under knee (20-30 flex) and heel off table. Axis: just distal to lateral malleolus. Stable arm: head of fibula.Moveable arm: // to sole of heel. 20, 50. firm/hard for both.Movement substitution: knee ext, toe ext; knee flex, toe flex
