Physicalism

People are just bodies, nothing to do with souls or any other 'ethereal' substance. Derived from Materialism.

View that a variety of things can be explained in terms of a single reality or substance. (All Existing things go back to a source of where they come from)

Is a form of Monism, matter is the fundamental substance in nature. No matter what, whether it is Mentally, Consciously. It's material interactions.

Idealism

Ideal, Perfect world and the thought that ideas are the most important.

Realism

You know what is real and can identify the situation in a logical view.

Mind/Body Problem

Is the mind a part of the body or seperated?

Mind

Enables awareness of the world, element of knowing.

Thought

Idea or opinion. (images in head, words in head or thinking.)

Consciousness

Aware and responsive to surroundings. (For example a coma patient would NOT fall under this.)
