Oral Tradition:
A body of stories that has been passed down by word of mouth
Consequences:
We are responsible for the choices we freely make & for there punishments
Temptation:
an enticement or a pressure to turn away from God through sinful thoughts, words, or actions.
Meditation:
A type of prayer in which we are silent and concentrate on listening to God through outs feelings, imagination, and thoughts.

*Meditation is thinking about God's presence in our daily lives.
Grace:
A gift that God freely gives us,

is God's life within us, which fills us with his love and enables us to live according to his will.
Mortal Sin:
A serious act against God's law, done purposley.

-It seperates us from God's Grace.
Incarnation:
God's son becoming Man, one like us, Jesus Christ, who is both human and divine.
Genealogy:
A record or account of the ancestry and descent of a person, family, group, etc.
Venial sin:
Less serious then a mortal sin.

-Venial sin's weaken our relationship with God and the Church community.
Sacramentals:
A sacramental is a symbolic prayer, blessing, object, or action instituted by the Church that can lead us to a fuller participation in the grace of the sacraments.
Emmanuel:
God is with us.
Prayer:
Opening our hearts to God so that we may be filled with his love.
