Shuffle mode (F1) |
Clip movement is constrained by other clips and any changes you make affect the placement of subsequent clips on the track. When you move clips it will snap to the previous clip on the track. When editing trim,cut, or delete all tracks to the right will slide along to make space. |

Slip mode (F2) |
You can edit tracks without effecting the placement of other clips. You can even overlap tracks. |
