4) Sadly, a good manager and a fun manager are different things. A good manager does keep personnel files, but keeps them on everyone to document training and qualifications to perform a job. They make sure employees are competent and comfortable doing a job or performing a procedure before letting the employee perform it on their own. And they supervise the employee's aptitude before letting the employee fly solo. Then they sign off on training and proficiency once they are comfortable doing the job. So you can stick that up your pipe Debbie, nobody's stalking you, just making sure you can do the job right before you can do it on your own. |
