The Subjunctive Mood
=> Expresses conditional tense using WOULD and WERE
=> Expresses a demand or request
=> THAT must come right after the verb and the second verb is always in simple present tense
=> Wrong answer choices often use SHOULD which is redundant

Rule for Identifying Singular Pronouns
If you can place the word 'ONE' after a pronoun, it's singular

3rd Person Singular
=> Subject: He/She/It

Pronouns: If unsure of which pronoun to use...
take out the noun and see if it makes sense
Pronouns: When making comparisons...
make sure the pronouns are in the same form as the nouns
If some answer choices contain 'BEING' and others do not...
then all answer choices with 'BEING' are wrong
When to use a semicolon
when linking two complete sentences
