Monster Pairs AA and KK

Best hands in holdem. Often win unimproved. Potentially Flop huge sets and full houses that dominate all but a straight or flush. Raise and re raise freely.

Big Pairs QQ JJ TT

Outstanding hands. Play well in all situations. Win less often uninproved than Monster pairs. Raise from any position. Safe to reraise once.

Medium Pairs 99 88 and 77

Shine 2 Sit's, 2 o 3 Hands W weak opponents, and 5+ opp when you make a set on the flop. Limp from EP, limp or raise from LP. Trying to play against weak hands. Fold against tight opp's and those that play only Premium hands. Always fold to a raise unless there is a lot of action and money in the pot. In that case you are working favorable por odds in hipes of making that set and a huge pay day.

Small Pairs 66-22

Usually only win if improved even against few opp's. Speculative: hopong to improve to a set or FH. Most profitable when game is loose and aggressive. Worthless in tight games.

Must see flop cheaply. 1bet. 2 at most. Fold in games with lots of PreFlop betting, especially from EP.

BigSuitedBroadways AKs-ATs, KQs and KJs

Strong Hands! Top pair W strong Kicker often made. Sometimes a Big flush win massive pots against many opp's. Shine in pass. And agg. games.

Uss. Safe to raise in unraised pots. Limp in tight games/don't scare off weaker hands. Allow them to make mistakes.

If pot raised: use caution AJs, ATs, KQs, & KJs. Raiser likely dominates. Unless raiser is lunatic or habitually terrible/raises W MH's, sees many flops and loses.
