Pt is sitting and percussion is applied directly under the clavicle

Pat is sitting (leaning fwd with forhead resting in forearm)Percussion is applied above the scapulae. Therapist's fingers curve over the top of the shoulder

Upper lobe Anterior segment

Pt is supine and percussion is applied bilaterally directly over the nipple or just above the breast

Upper lobe Posterior segment -Left

Pt lies one quater turn from prone and rests on the right side. Table is inclined 30 to 45 deg (head is elevated) Percussion is applied directly over the left scapula.

Pt lies flat and one-quarter turn from prone on the left side. Percussion is applied directly over the scapula
