What is the difference between a longitudinal wave and a transverse wave? give an example of each.

transverse is perdictular to direction and longitudinal is back and forth.

Amplitude Is how high the wave goes up from the base line. Frequency is no cycles divided by secs. Wavelength is measure from crest to crest.
