Fideism

The idea that faith is independent from reason and the faith is superior to reason.

Propositional Revelation

God directly reveals truths about his nature to people.

Non Propositional Revelation

God does not reveal facts or truths to people; instead the religious believer recognises God acting in human history and experience e.g. a person seeing God in nature.

Natural Theology

Knowledge of God can be found in human reason and knowledge, not through the aid of the divine.

Revealed Theology

Knowledge of God that cannot be known without the aid of the divine.
