Full Lipid Profile (FLP)

Cholesterol test that requries 12hr fast - measures total cholesterol, LDL choleterol (bad), HDL cholesterol (good), and triglycerides - recommended over age 20 every 5 yrs

Liver Function (LFT)

measures levels of ALT and AST - for patients on cholesterol meds

Simple Cholesterol (TC)

non-fasting cholesterol test - measures only total cholesterol
