Case Review Committee

Multi disciplinary team of professionals who reviews status of each incident and monitor case progress.

Emotional Abuse

Actions patterns of acts or omision or pattern of omissions to inattention to a childs emotional needs resulting in an adverse affect upon a childs psychological well being.

Neglect

Actions or omissions by parent, guardian or caretaker of witholding or deprivation of basic necesssities.

Domestic Abuse

Domestic violence; or patterns of behavior resulting in emotional, psychological abuse, economic control by spouse, intimate partner or has shared a common domicile.

Family Advocacy Committee

A multi disciplinary body who ensures effective community coordination and response to domestic or child abuse incidents.

Family Advocacy Officer

A designed official who is responsible for administrative management and effectiveness of the FAP.

Family Advocacy Representative

A credentialed provider responsible for managing the clinical rehab and intervention for the local FAP.

Assignment Control Flag

Recommended by CRC on domestic and child abuse incidents, temporary normally removed within 1 year.

PERS 8 Control Flag

Placed in personnel data system for all suspected child sexual abuse cases. Flag may restrict transfers, promotions and reenlistment. Remove after case resolution.

Juvenile Sex Offender

Personnel under 18 who has sexually abuse another juvenile.
