What is speed? |
How far an object will travel in a certain time. But it doesn't tell you the direction of travel. |

So then...What is velocity? |
A slight bit different from speed. Velocity tells you the object's speed and it gives you an indication of the direction of travel. |

How do you calculate speed? |
Speed (m/s) = Distance (m) / Time (s) The measurements could vary depending on the question! Watch out for things like cm into m/s! |
