[5]Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

[6]Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

[7]To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

[8]To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

[9]To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Isaiah 60:10-14

[10]And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

[14]The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

[24]Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

[25]But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.
