Major weight gain and changes in metabolism: risk for diabetes, hypercholesterolemia - monitor weight, glucose, and lipid levels regularly.

Rigidity, persistent muscle spasms, tremors, restlessness, long term use may lead to TD (tardive dyskinesia - muscle movements that can't be controlled).
Side effects of ADHD medications...
Decreased appetite, sleep problems, stomach aches, headaches, TICS. ADHD meds should not be used for clients with heart conditions as this increases the chance for stroke, heart attach, and sudden death. The mediation can also cause onset of psychiatric problems in clients with no history of these problems.
