How are your numbers looking for the year?

Yeah I think we’re on target. We’re approaching $800,000 for the year so far.

Looking forward to getting back in the office?

Well yes and no. I’m excited to see everyone. I love the atmosphere in the office but number have really increased since working from home and I don’t want them to drop back down. But yeah I’ve got a lot of friends I’m excited to catch up with.

What do you do?

So I receive leads from various sources and it’s my job to sort through them and either sell our device over the phone or set up appointments for the reps to give a demonstration of the device.

I’m kind of like the first point of contact for the prospects before they’re filtered into where they need to go.

What’s your day to day like?

Well first ill usually sit an appointment at 8am or 8:30am and then I’ll go through all of my emails.

Then I’ll update the reports from any feedback given by the RSMs on the leads that I’ve sent to them.

After that I’ll call through the new leads that came in the previous day.

I’ll set up those appointments and then I’ll start calling through all of the leads which I haven’t been able to connect with OR I haven’t got a firm answer from.

And I’ll switch between those two things for most of the day.

Why is it easier to work from home?

I mean it comes down to a couple of things.

1. There’s a less distractions at home.

2. The silence in the background of my home office sounds very professional to the customer.

3. Most importantly, I have wayyy more working hours at home. We recently set up appointment setting on our website which means that a customer can schedule an appointment around their availability. Currently it’s set between 8am and 9pm but on the days I’m back in the office that availability get reduced by about 5 hours per day. Plus another 1 hour of travelling and another 1 hour lunch break. So 7 hours a day lost.
