What is a magnetic field? |
This is an area around a magnet where magnetic force is produced,it is represented by field line that always go from North to South |

Small regions in a magnet that consist of atomic magnets,these atomic magnets have to be aligned in order for a magnet to carry out its job because then the magnetic effect of one domain would add on to the magnetic effect of the next as compared to when they are not aligned and there is net magnetic effect. |
